In 2025, Settlers Green is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Bring A Friend with silver-themed activations and promotions including a ribbon cutting, champagne toast and more.

Silver Ribbon Cutting & Cake Ceremony
Join us at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 7 on The Green to kick off the event. The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce joins us to commemorate the official kick-off to the 25th Anniversary of Bring A Friend with a special ribbon cutting. Additionally, we'll have a commemorative cake and coffee available, while supplies last. This event is open to the public.

Champagne Toast
Join us at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 7 at Barley & Salt for a Champagne Toast. Complimentary Settlers Green stemless champagne glass for the first 150 attendees. Entertainment includes a live radio broadcast with Mountain Country NH 97.1 FM and Lakes 101.5. This event is open to the public.

Silver Tickets
We will have 88 Silver Tickets in the Bring A Friend Bags, with 88 serving as a nod to year Settlers Green opened, 1988. Each Silver Ticket will have a value between $10-$1000 and can be exchanged for a Settlers Green Gift Card at Customer Service.

25 Raffles for 25 Years
From gift baskets to hotel stays, we're going big on raffles to celebrate our 25th anniversary. There will be a special "25 Raffles for 25 Years" called on Saturday, November 8. The raffle is free. A special raffle ticket will be available at Giveaway Headquarters located on The Green (under the tents). Raffle Sponsors include Cotopaxi, The SoakingPot Infusion Spa, The Met Coffeehouse, Jockey as well as local partners Hilton Garden Inn, Great Glen Trails, Tuckerman Brewing Co. and The Valley Originals. This raffle is in addition to the Bring A Friend Daily Raffle you may enter by QR code when you visit Customer Service.

Memory Museum
Take a look back at Bring A Friend pictures over the years at the Memory Museum. Located on The Green, November 7-9, and then Customer Service on all other dates.

Whether you plan to tailgate or grab lunch during Bring A Friend, here are details on who is open when for our eateries. On Saturday, November 8, the big tent on The Green has heated seating available for anyone to use.

Bring A Friend begins on Friday, November 7, with a ceremonial Silver Ribbon Cutting at 10 a.m. on The Green with the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, we'll have a commemorative cake and coffee available, while supplies last. Later in the day, join us for a Champagne Toast at Barley & Salt Tap House and Kitchen at 4 p.m. Shopping hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Undoubtedly the biggest day for entertainment and activities, expect Black Friday level busyness with a fun, celebratory atmosphere. This year the Flagship Day is Saturday, November 8. Store are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The biggest tradition of all takes place at 8 a.m. on The Green when 1000 Bring A Friend Bags are distributed to start the Flagship Day. Bags include special offers, gifts and samples. The line begins on The Green; Shoppers are encouraged to come early to get in line starting around 7:30 a.m.

In celebration of our 25th anniversary, a select number of bags will include Silver Tickets that can be exchanged for a Settlers Green Gift Card. Silver Tickets will hold a value of up to $1000.

If you receive a bag, you also received a Scratch & Win ticket. Your prize is redeemable at the Scratch & Win Depot Tent located next to Talbots. All other days of Bring A Friend, Scratch & Win Depot will be located at Customer Service.

Since the start of Bring A Friend, many shoppers arrive decked out for the holidays, wearing matching sweatshirts, hats and more. Shoppers are encouraged to dress up and join the Bring A Friend Parade, sponsored by North Conway Olive Oil Co. Everyone that participates receives a ticket to pick up a complimentary gift at the conclusion of the parade.

There will be a "Cheer Off" for the person with the "Most Christmas-y Costume." The winner receives a $100 Settlers Green Gift Card. This year's parade will begin at a new time - 11 a.m. - starting at Banana Republic.

There are many ways to save during Bring A Friend including exclusive deals you'll only get by attending the event.

• Coupon Book - Our year-round Coupon Book includes over 30 store offers; Hard copies are available at Customer Service.
• Daily Deals - Many stores have Friends & Family promotions during Bring A Friend, many, but not all are posted to our Deals page. Otherwise, inquire with an associate when you visit a store.
• Discount Programs - Select stores offer Military, Student, Teacher and other forms of discounts. Every Tuesday at Settlers Green is Senior Day with discounts for ages 55+.

If you received a bag, you also received a Scratch & Win ticket. Redeemable on The Green on Nov. 8 then Customer Service all other days. Scratch off to reveal a special gift from Pandora, Stonewall Kitchen or Merrell.

Special activations include a 100 bag giveaway at aerie, live caricaturist, and spin-to-win for chances to win gift cards and product from Old Navy, Under Armour, Columbia and more. We will also distribute American flags at The Gazebo at 11 a.m. along with the singing of the National Anthem in honor of Veterans Day. Plus, our Veterans Remembrance Walk will be open between The Met and Barley & Salt.

Starting at 10 a.m., a 250 backpack giveaway at Cotopaxi, doorbuster event at Merrell and chances to win nordic ski passes to Great Glen Trails and more.

Shoppers that plan to come a different day or time other than The Flagship Day still have the opportunity to receive a Bring A Friend Bag. Shoppers can purchase a Pick Up Pass for $10 in advance of the event to pick up the bag on any of the 10 days of Bring A Friend.

We will donate $1 of every Pick Up Pass sold to Angels & Elves, a service project of the Kiwanis Club of Mount Washington Valley that ensures that 450-600 underserved children in the Mount Washington Valley receive gifts during the holiday season.

What is a Pick Up Pass and do I need it?
A Pick Up Pass is essentially a reservation and guarantees that you will receive a Bring A Friend bag. There are 1000 passes available. You are paying $10 for the convenience of getting the bag at any time during the 10-day event.

What if I don't buy a Pick Up Pass, can I still get a bag?
Yes, the only other way to receive a Bring A Friend bag is to be at the Bag Giveaway at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 8 (The Flagship Day). There are 1000 free bags given away on The Green near Timberland.

Is there a difference between the bag received with a Pick Up Pass vs the bag received in the line on the Flagship Day?
No. All bags are identical in style and include the same, if not similar gifts and samples.

What happened to the Premium Bag?
This year, we have made the decision to streamline this element of the event to better focus on making the 25th anniversary our biggest shopping party yet.

What is in the bag?
The bags include a coupon book, exclusive offers, swag items and products. The value of each bag is $30+.

How long does the Pick Up Pass sale run?
It starts at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and we usually sell out within hours of the start of the sale. Set a reminder on your phone! There are 1000 Pick Up Passes available.

Where do I buy a Pick Up Pass?
It is an online-only sale. You cannot buy it at Customer Service.

Can I buy a Pick Up Pass for my friends, too?
Yes, you can purchase for your friends. However, the person that is registered is the only one allowed to pick up the bags since registration will be under their name.

I purchased a Pick Up Pass for myself or friends, but cannot make it. Can someone else get it for me?
Yes, call Laura at 603-356-7031 x100 to change the designated person for pick up. We ask that you use this as a last resort for emergencies only.

I bought my Pick Up Pass. When can I pick up my bag?
Bags will be available November 7-16 only at designated times at Customer Service. You will receive full details when you purchase your Pick Up Pass.

Can I buy more than one Pick Up Pass?
Yes, you can buy for yourself and anyone that you plan to shop with during Bring A Friend.

I just found out I can't come, can I get a refund?
Sorry, we do not refund Pick Up Pass purchases. We will hold a bag if you suddenly cannot make the event, but plan to come at a later date.
