Almost two years after Wicked Fresh Craft Burgers made its debut in North Conway, local owners, the Iannuzzi and Rassi families, are expanding into Settlers Green with a new restaurant and two food kiosks to open in June 2019.
FIRE by Wicked Fresh will feature Mediterranean-inspired lunch and dinner plates, as well as brick oven pizza including slices to go. The restaurant will also serve local beer and specialty wine on tap. The 2,350 square foot restaurant, located next to Bass Factory Outlet and across from the Settlers Green Management Office, also has a heated outdoor patio. Construction and renovations are underway. Interior design is being completed by Prellwitz Chilinski Associates of Cambridge, Mass. The restaurant will feature playful wallcoverings, organic toned textiles, colorful graffiti and industrial accents.
Additionally, the Wicked Restaurant Group will have two kiosks in the Food Courtyard at Settlers Green near Kay Jewelers and Dressbarn. Wicked Street will feature food truck eats like tacos, burritos, and bowls. Chef and co-owner Danny Rassi will have original recipes and flavorful specials. Wicked Munchies will be a snack shack with quick options for shoppers like popcorn, ice cream and build your own waffles. Both kiosks have outdoor patio dining.
Marc and Kathy Ianuzzi, who successfully launched the White Mountain Cupcakery in 2009, partnered with Danny and Angelys Rassi to create Wicked Fresh Craft Burgers in 2017. It is quite the family affair, given that Kathy and Danny are brother and sister, and Marc and Danny have been friends since they were teenagers. Wicked Fresh Craft Burgers was an instant homerun and built its brand on a “fresh, never frozen” concept. The new restaurant and eateries will follow suit.
“We plan to keep the ‘wicked fresh way’ intact,” Danny noted. “Ingredients will be sourced from the Northeast, including a local vendors Sherman Farm and North Country Smokehouse.”
Kathy, famous for her award-winning cupcakes at White Mountain Cupcakery, emphasized that the FIRE menu will have many layers to it.
“It won’t just be a pizza restaurant,” Kathy emphasized. “The goal is to have it be a modern take on old world tastes with a variety of menu options and fresh flavors to experience on every visit.”
FIRE, Wicked Street and Wicked Munchies join locally owned and operated eateries all found at Settlers Green and Settlers Crossing including The Met Coffeehouse, Barley & Salt Tap House and Kitchen, Black Cap Grille and White Mountain Cupcakery.
