About Dancing In The Street

Are you ready for a brand new beat? Join us in celebration from October 10-15, 2017, at Settlers Green Streetside. Dancing In The Street will include musical themed events, community celebrations, shopping specials, art unveilings, & giveaways.

Local Business Ribbon-Cutting Event

Tuesday, October 10
Settlers Green Streetside hosts a ribbon-cutting event. Local Chamber of Commerce businesses are welcome to join the celebration.

Wednesday, October 11
A complete art experience! Art history of the White Mountains presented by Bob Cotrell of the Conway Historical Society, a special presentation by local artists Erik Koeppel and Lauren Sansaricq, and a culinary art experience with the White Mountain Cupcakery! This is a free event to the public and takes place at the Pedestrian Walkway by Francesca's and Skechers at Settlers Green Streetside.

10:30 a.m. - Erik Koeppel and Lauren Sansaricq
Join us for a 45-minute presentation by these two local artists from Jackson, NH. The art talk includes review of their recent "Recovering the American Sublime" exhibit and other works and techniques by these traditional landscape artists. Artists Bios: Erik Koeppel & Lauren Sansaricq 
 
11:30 a.m. - Bob Cotrell - Conway Historical Society
Local historian Bob Cotrell discusses Art History in the White Mountains during a 30-minute presentation, discussing 19th century and early 20th century artists.

1:00 p.m. - Kathy Iannuzzi - White Mountain Cupcakery
Kathy Iannuzzi welcomes everyone to a culinary experience at the White Mountain Cupcakery at Settlers Green Outlet Village Suite D52. She will do a 30-minute cake decorating demonstration.

Thursday, October 12
Shop for a cause! October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The first 100 shoppers to donate $10 to Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation receive a swag bag. In-store specials & a $500 raffle giveaway! This event takes place at the Pedestrian Walkway by Francesca's and Skechers at Settlers Green Streetside.

11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Jen's Friends Cancer Foundation will have volunteers on-site with information about the nonprofit and how its serves the Mt. Washington Valley. Purchase a $10 commemorative canvas bag with free goodies and coupons. Proceeds go directly to Jen's Friends and Settlers Green will match it! Only 100 bags available! Plus, enter to win a $500 raffle prize to the stores at Settlers Green Streetside. Tickets are $5 each.

A full day of festivities including an Art Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. followed by an American Bandstand-style festival starting at 4 p.m. featuring community dance groups, professional dancers, and a DJ. Plus, street food vendors from across New England.
